Maintenance Supervision of Nunukan Meteorological Station Database Management System
In order to improve the quality of weather information services, the Nunukan Meteorological Station has taken a strategic step by replacing the database management system from Bmkgsoft v1 to Bmkgsoft v2. This update process was carried out through supervision activities involving a team of experts from the BMKG Database Center. The supervision activities that took place from 14-17 October included socialization of the use of new applications, checking and correcting historical data, and training for station officers. With this update, it is hoped that the weather data produced by BMKG, especially the Nunukan Meteorological Station, will be more accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
